sleep problems

A talk by

Philip Smith

Literally by "popular demand" our March 2019 speaker, Philip Smith, returned once again – this time to give a talk on sleep and the range of difficulties associated with this most important of human activities.

One of our own long-term members, Philip Smith, discussed not only the various problems some people encounter with sleep but also looked at solutions which therapists can offer to their clients.

Among the issues he focused upon was the importance of what he described as 'sleep hygiene' and he offered practical tips and not just hypnotic interventions.

In addition members and guests were invited to take part in the evening discussion by providing their own methods for helping with sleep problems, including bringing favourite scripts or procdures.

All of which provided as promised a really practical evening of therapeutic help for problems which almost inevitably every hypnotherapist will encounter.
