Hypnotherapy for cancer patients:
Personal experience and practical advice

A talk by Martina McKeough

The speaker at the James Braid Society's May 2014 meeting was Martina McKeough, a clinical hypnotherapist who specialises in helping people through their cancer journeys.

During her talk Martina explained her own history as a cancer survivor who experienced the benefits of self-hypnosis while undergoing her treatment.

Recognising how helpful hypnotherapy could be she volunteered at Cherry Lodge Cancer Care in Barnet for nearly two years working with their members to get experience with working with cancer patients.
