Life Coaching

A talk by Nicola Martin

In recent years ‘Life Coaching’ has received bad press.  However, what is it that we therapists are doing if we are not assisting clients in adjusting to adversities and helping them to realise more of their innate potential?

Nicola Martin Nicola Martin
is the Principal of the ICH and has been involved in hypnotherapy for over twenty years, both as a noted private practitioner and a lecturer.

But in the Society April 2011 talk, Nicola Martin carefully highlighted the skills required to incorporate Life Coaching into a hypnotherapist's everyday practice.

During her talk she also examined and explained ways in which clients can increase their resilience and, just as importantly, overcome deep rooted psychological blocks that may bevpreventing them from reaching their goals.

This was an interactive talk deliberately designed to enable the her audience to learn to not only be more effective with their clients but to be more effective in their own lives.

She has trained extensively in the United Kingdom and the United States and is Board Certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) in the USA. Nicola specialises in hypnotic Deep State Training.
She completed her MSc in Rational Emotive and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at Goldsmiths London University under Professor Windy Dryden.
